WISE AND AARON'S LUCKY DOG TEAM
AIM FOR VICTORY AT NASHVILLE SUPERSPEEDWAY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEBANON, Tenn. (August 9, 2007) – After making his NASCAR Busch Series debut at O'Reilly Raceway Park and posting a second place finish in the latest ARCA RE/MAX event in Pocono, Josh Wise returns to NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racing this Saturday with the determination of driving his No. 00 Aaron's Lucky Dog Toyota Tundra to Victory Lane.
“This season so far has been a whirlwind for me,” said Wise. “I have had many firsts from my first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event to a NASCAR Busch Series debut. I have had the opportunity to race at new tracks and meet many people who are so supportive of me and my racing career. I have such gratitude to Aaron's for allowing me to drive their truck and represent their company. I hope to add to this list my first win this weekend in Nashville .”
Wise has participated in one ARCA RE/MAX event at the 1.33-mile D-shaped oval posting a fourth-place qualifying time. Trouble on pit road forced Wise to set for a 23 rd -place finish.
“Nashville Superspeedway is one of the tracks that I have stockcar experience on,” said Wise. “I ran well here in April for the ARCA RE/MAX event, but had some issues later in the race. The Aaron's Lucky Dog Team is solid and I would like nothing more than to win a race for Aaron's especially this weekend because of their huge presence in Tennessee . We are going to try our best to deliver a win this weekend for them.”
The Darrell Waltrip team, under the direction of Crew Chief, Jason Overstreet , has experienced a trip to Victory Lane in 2005 with David Reutimann behind the wheel.
“Winning here with Reutimann was a dream,” said Overstreet. “It was great to see David get his first victory and be apart of that. Josh has what it takes to earn his first win here also. He continues to learn and improves every time he sits in the Truck. I am sure Josh and our team will shine this weekend.”
Live coverage of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday, August 11 th begins at 6 p.m. EDT on SPEED and MRN Radio.
